On the Day 1 of 6 Days Kilimanjaro hiking,You will be picked up from the hotel and taken to Marangu gate. As you drive to the gate, you will have great views of the mountain. You and your group of guides and porters will then go to the gate to check into the park. You will enter the mountain's first zone, the rain forest. You could see colorful birds, colobus monkeys and other monkey species, mosses, lichens, flowers, and delicate orchids in the forest. If the sky is clear, you can see Moshi, a town that is further down at the edge of the plain. In the remaining of 6 Days Kilimanjaro hiking 4-5 hours, you will ascend through coffee plantations and thick rainforest to Mandara Hut, where you will have dinner and stay the night.

A night at Hut Horombo

On the Day 4 of 6 Days Kilimanjaro climbing As you leave behind kibo, the eternal flower, and other bizarre alpine plants, the landscape becomes rockier and rougher. In the sparse moorland, massive groundsels and lobelias appear. It will take between five and seven hours to hike up the trail to Kibo. Skirting Mawenzi Peak after passing the Last Water Point, you then cross a stark, almost lunar landscape to reach the Saddle, a wide tundra desert between Mawenzi and Kibo. Here you will begin Kilimanjaro climbing getting phenomenal perspectives on the upper scopes of the mountain prior to showing up at Kibo Hovel (4,705m), a dry-stone-walled cabin with residences and restricted offices.
Tonight, you repack to leave any non-essential items with the porters as you prepare for tomorrow's final assault, THE SUMMIT; There is absolutely no point in carrying anything you do not require because you will need all of your energy to reach the summit! You must start at midnight in order to reach the Kilimanjaro climbing summit before the cloud cover settles and return to the hut in time for sunrise. This necessitates an early night.
