DAY 0: ARRIVAL –TRANSFER TO STONE TOWN- CHECK-IN HOTEL

Upon arrival at Abed Aman Karume International Airport, you will meet your Burigi Chato Safaris Co L.T.D guide who will pick you up and transfer you to your hotel in Stone Town. Settle into your accommodation, relax and get used to the Zanzibar atmosphere. Ready to start your 6 DAYS ZANZIBAR TOUR the next day.

DAY 1: MNEMBA SNORKELLING AND NUNGWI TURTLE AQUARIUM

in the morning after breakfast, around 08:30am you will be picked up at the hotel ready for Mnemba snorkelling and nungwi turtle aquarium. Enjoy a beautiful day snorkelling around Mnemba island seeing fish like zebrafish, spotted boxfish, spotted pufferfish, clownfish, Dorry, powder blue surgeonfish, Emperor angelfish, Picasso triggerfish, Moorish idol, stingray, lionfish, porcupines fish and turtles swimming around shallow. After you have had your exploring time the captain will be ready to bring you back to shore and your transfers will arrive.

Stop at: AQUARIUM
The Next stop is the Nungwi Aquarium where you will be able to see turtles swimming in their rock pools. During this trip we are going to visit Mnarani Aquarium or Baraca Aquarium (your choice). Mnarani Aquarium is a lagoon with sea turtles – the place created by non-governmental organization to protect green turtle whose females used to lay eggs on Zanzibar beaches a dozen or so years ago. Green turtles can be observed there swimming in the lagoon. Baraca Aquarium is a lagoon with approximately 30 sea turtles you can swim with

Mnarani aquarium, Mnarani meaning, place of the lighthouse’ in Swahili, is located at the northern tip of Zanzibar Island in the small village of Nungwi near the lighthouse that marks this landmark. The pond is a large, natural tidal pool in the coral rock behind the beach. It was originally set up to rehabilitate and study marine turtles that had been caught in fishing nets, and the project was developed to ensure that local baby turtles were also protected. Around 04:00 pm we will check in to the Hotel at Nungwi

DAY 2: BEACH REASURE AT NUNGWI BEACH

On this day, after breakfast, you will be relaxing at Nungwi Beach and spending your days at Nungwi and of course Most of visitors to this place are beach lovers so you will have some different options here, you may be doing other activities which are also found at Nungwi. (Will be elaborated bellow) apart from relaxing at beach. So, we can arrange those extra activities (if you wish) but you will be required to pay extra cost for them.

Although these beaches are truly picturesque and fun to explore – you can’t compare them to Nungwi. The North is where you find the crystal-clear water and white sand beaches of paradise. There's something rather special about smaller cities. Whether you're heading off to Nungwi for a handful of days or you're thinking of staying a little longer, you'll quickly fall in love with this place. In fact, with so many fun things to do and impressive attractions to see, you probably won't want to leave

DAY 3: SAFARI BLUE – BACK TO NUNGWI

In the morning after breakfast, around 08:30am you will be picked up at the hotel ready for Safari blue. Your full-day Safari blue experience will start embarking on a traditional dhow from the Fumba fishing village. Primary the dhow, introduced by the Arabs, was a trading vessel used by the Swahili. They could be massive – it once transported a giraffe to the Chinese Emperor. Today they reflect the craftsmanship of Zanzibari timbers.

Aboard you will get to know the sea and shores of Zanzibar, islands and coral reefs of a pristine conservation region, the Menai Bay, with a chance to take a dip in front of the naturally occurring sandbanks. After a refreshing swim rest on the white sand with a coconut tree providing shade. The crystal-clear turquoise water is appreciated also by the dolphins and you can easily see some swimming around the area.

You will visit a 200 hundred years old baobab tree, and the persistent ones may try to climb it and enjoy breathtaking views. With a little luck, you might even see gigantic coconut crabs, living in the hollow trunk. Another great opportunity for a swim is in a mangrove lagoon on Kwale Island. Swimming through the branches is quite a special experience! Fingers crossed for a high tide to even enhance it!

In between, you'll sink into the deep blue with your mask and snorkel, swim, perhaps even with a dolphin around. You will certainly be hungry with all these activities, so there's an excellent seafood buffet lunch prepared for you. Do you think it's too active? Don't take part in any of the activities, just relax and indulge in one of the highlights of your Zanzibari vacation. Around 04:00 pm we will check in to the Hotel at Nungwi

DAY 5: NUNGWI TO STONE TOWN - CITY TOUR & PRISON ISLAND

After Breakfast You will be Picked up from hotel by our guide to Stone Town City Tour, on this tour we will take you around the historical culture, architectural important town of Zanzibar with a century history.

(A) STONE TOWN TOUR
Stop at: The Old Fort (Ngome kongwe)
You will see the place that was used as a prison, you will see an old amphitheater which was used for ladies and without forgetting the traditional handcraft. Time 15mnts Stop at: House of Wonders (Beit-el-Ajaib) ----You will see the old brunze guns which were captured by perssians by year 1622, you will see Zanzibar old curved doors and others preserved old items like dhows. Duration: 15 minutes

Stop At: Old Slave Market/Anglican Cathedral
Our guide will guide through the area to see the slave monuments and tomb of Edward Steers. Duration: 30 minutes Stop At: Freddie Mercury Museum
Our guide will pass you through to see the house which was used by famous Singer of rock band music Freddie Mercury (Queen of rock band music). Duration: 15 minutes Stop At: Palace Museum (Beit al-Sahel)

(B) PRISON ISLAND TOUR CHANGUU PRIVATE ISLAND
The boat ride from Stone Town takes 20-30 minutes and the seas at times can be a bit rough. Arriving on the island, there is a mysterious rustic wooden bridge that hovers a few meters above the water, jetting out into the sea. DAY 6: SPICE TOUR AND JOZANI FOREST TOUR

Stop at: SPICE TOUR
The Spice Tour is one of the most popular excursions in Zanzibar, the Spice Island. It got its nick name as a result of being one of the world’s leading producers of spices such as clove, nutmeg and cinnamon in the 19th century. This tour is a walking tour in a spice farm (shamba). While there, you shall see how the spices, herbs and fruits grow and are cultivated. Your tour guide will describe how the crops can be used. You will be smelling and tasting spices, herbs and tropical fruits such as clove, lemongrass, nutmeg, cinnamon, turmeric, vanilla, coconuts, papaya, chili, black pepper, jackfruit, cardamom, cassava and oranges.

Stop at: JOZANI FOREST
The Jozani forest, a natural reserve, lies 35 km South East from Zanzibar City between Chawaka Bay and Uzi Bay. The only remaining natural forest of Unguja covers an area of 10 square km. The forest, with trees older than 100 years, is the sanctuary for some very interesting animals, including the Red Colobus monkey, the small Zanzibar leopard, blue monkey, chameleon, mongoose, bush baby, tree hyrax, bush pig, civet, and two small antelope species found only on Zanzibar, Zanzibar duiker and Sunni. After having tour, you will get back to Nungwi Beach.

DEPARTURE DAY: SOUVENIR AND GET TRANSFERED TO AIRPORT – FLY BACK HOME

Depending on your flight schedule and departure point you will be transferred to the Zanzibar Airport to take a flight back home. If you are flying out of Dar es Salaam, Kilimanjaro or Nairobi, we will arrange a connection flight for you to catch your flight back home.
