On your arrival at Arusha/Kilimanjaro Airport, your Tanzanian guide, Burigi Chato Safaris, will pick you up and transfer you to your hotel or lodge in Arusha or Moshi Tanzania. you will settle into your accommodation, relax and get used to the Tanzanian atmosphere. Ready to start your 4 days Serengeti Migration safari in the Eastern Serengeti of Great Tanzania (East of Grumeti River and NAABI HILL) the next day.

Arusha is a city located in northern Tanzania and the capital of the Arusha Region with a population of 416,442 and 323,198 in the surrounding Arusha District. Arusha lies below Mount Meru on the eastern edge of the eastern branch of the Great Rift Valley and has a temperate climate. The city is close to Serengeti National Park, Ngorongoro Conservation Area, Lake Manyara National Park, Olduvai Gorge, Tarangire National Park, Kilimanjaro Nationala Park and Arusha National Park at Mount Meru.

On this first day you will leave the city of Moshi or Arusha; the base town for safaris in northern Tanzania and along the Arusha to Dodoma highway, a scenic drive to the Serengeti National Park to start your Great Serengeti Migration adventure through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. You will stop by a supermarket (if you wish) to do any last minute shopping for personal items you may need.You arrive in the Serengeti at the afternoon rate.
Serengeti National Park: with its endless plains stretching out into the distance as far as the eye can see. We continue to the Lobo area, located north of the Seronera area (Central Serengeti National Park). The Serengeti wildebeest Migration normally crosses the Lobo range in July/August each year en route to Kenya's Masai Mara Game Reserve and again in late October/November en route to southern Serengeti National Park where also the Serengeti Wildebeest Migration takes place.

• Olduvai Gorge Museum - Sometimes referred to as the cradle of mankind, the Olduvai Gorge Museum commemorates some of the oldest human presences ever found.Here you'll see some of the world's oldest fossil evidence of human habitation, visit the Olduvai Gorge Museum to learn more about the human journey, and enjoy breathtaking views of this gorge-carved land.
• Maasai Boma Visit: You will visit one of the famous Maasai Boma where you will have the opportunity to watch and if possible, participate in traditional Maasai dances, tour an authentic Maasai village and even shop for some souvenirs on site Market at the bomas.

Arrive in the Serengeti late afternoon for an overnight game drive until evening when you check into a camp/lodge, have dinner and spend the night. Lunch will be taken at one of the picnic spots, likely at Naabi Hill Gate, where you'll also have the opportunity to stretch your legs while your guide completes the registration and relevant paperwork. The second day After breakfast we make our way east to the Serengeti National Park, also known as THE EAST OF THE GRUMETI RIVER where the Serengeti Migration wildlife normally cross . We will do a safari en route from the Seronera area to the eastern Serengeti area.
We will arrive at the lodge in time for lunch and after lunch we enjoy a game drive in the area. Serengeti Wildebeest migrations are typically seen in the eastern Serengeti in November, December and early January, depending on rainfall patterns. They generally stay in the northeast of the Serengeti and move further south in December. Dinner and overnight in the Eastern Serengeti depending on the standard and type of accommodation option desired.

Serengeti Migration continue After breakfast on the third day, you will enjoy a full day safari in the Eastern Serengeti. Wildebeest typically reside in the northeastern Serengeti and migrate further south in December. Gol Kopjes, located on the eastern plains, has the highest concentration of cheetahs in Africa during the rainy season. Most cheetahs in the Serengeti are migratory, as many of them follow the migration of the Thomson's gazelle to the eastern shortgrass plains during the wet season and then return to the central Serengeti (plain/forest boundary) during the wet season. During the rainy season, the eastern plains offer the best cheetah viewing in the Serengeti and in all of Africa. On a full day trip to the GOL Kopjes you are likely to encounter several groups of cheetahs. Cheetahs are strictly diurnal hunters, and if you're lucky, you'll see the world's fastest land animal in action they normally follow the Serengeti Wildebeest Migration.
Besides cheetahs, the eastern plains are home to the highest concentrations of hyenas during the green season. Large hyena clans of up to 30 individuals are regularly seen from Naabi Hill east via Gol Kopjes and Lemuta Hill. Hyenas, the most common predator in the entire ecosystem, are semi-nomadic and “travel” from their dens in the central Serengeti to the eastern plains during the rainy season. Even in the rainy season of , lion numbers are high in the eastern plains. Most lions in the Serengeti are residents, but a significant number are nomadic (about 20%) and follow the migratory animals in the Serengeti Migration to the plains each rainy season. However, lions are rarely found east of Lemuta and are much easier to see in the Serengeti proper, including the Gol Kopjes area.

After breakfast at the camp, we will head to Seronera airstrip on this fourth day of Serengeti Migration event,you will enjoy a game drive along the way. Around mid-morning, take a scheduled flight from Seronera Airstrip to Arusha Airport. Upon arrival at Arusha airport, you will meet our driver who will drive you to Arusha town. Upon arrival, we will have our lunch and then finish our Serengeti Migration African safari adventure. You will be transferred to your hotel where our game drive service/safari ends.
