On your arrival at Arusha/Kilimanjaro Airport, you will be picked up by your Tanzania Burigi Chato Safari Guide and transferred to your hotel in Arusha or Moshi. You will settle into your accommodation, relax and get acquainted with the African atmospheric condition. On the first day of your Mysterious Serengeti Migration you will wake up early in the morning, after taking breakfast, you will be picked from your hotel. A Burigi Chato Safari driver guide will transfer you to Arusha Airport for your flight to the Northern Serengeti. Upon arrival, embark on a wilderness game drive and follow the Great Serengeti Wildebeest Migration Trails.
Arrive at the lodge in time for lunch and enjoy a game drive around the area after lunch. Wildebeest migrations typically occur in the Wagakulia region from mid-July to October, depending on rainfall patterns. A long stretch of the Mara River flows through the Northern Serengeti National Park and presents the most difficult obstacles to migration of wildbeest. The Great Serengeti Migration adventure continue second day of your Safari,after enjoying your breakfast, proceed with a full day game drive in the Wagarukia area. This area of the park is extremely rich in wildlife, with lion colonies of up to 30, and from mid-July to October, the area transforms into a wildlife paradise. The main feature is the Mara River, and it is not uncommon for herds of the Serengeti Wildebeest Migration to cross the Mara River north in one day and then back south again after a few days. For sure finding the intersection is very difficult and sometimes a matter of luck for you to witness. A herd can be seen along the river and it will take a few days to decide whether to cross or not. The area is a stunning area of kopies, forests, riverine vegetation and open plains similar to Kenya's Masai Mara National Reserve.
(There is also the opportunity to ride a hot air balloon in this area) Serengeti Balloon Safari: The experience of soaring over the Serengeti is simply indescribable. See the park from a bird's eye view as you soar by the sun. The balloon ride is about an hour. Afterwards, passengers gather around a table surrounded by the park's lush plains to enjoy an English 'out of Africa' breakfast.

This area of the park is extremely rich in wildlife, with lion colonies of up to 30, turning the area into a wildlife paradise from mid-July to October. The main feature is the Mara River, and it is not common for herds to cross the Mara River north in one day and then back south again after a few days. It’s by chance- to witness The Serengeti Wildebeest Migration finding the crosing and sometimes a matter of luck. A group is seen along the river and it will be a few days before a decision is made whether to cross or not. The area is a stunning area of kopies, riverine vegetation, forests and open plains similar to Masai Mara National Reserve of Kenya.

The last day of your trip you will have a morning and afternoon game drives in Serengeti central. Enjoy lunch and leisure at the lodge in the afternoon. The word Serengeti means endless plains in Maasai ,the Famous Serengeti Migration marks the existence of this national park worldwide. Carnivores such as leopards, lions, hyenas and cheetahs live in the central plains. This park is usually the site of annual Serengeti Wildebeest Migration and zebra migrations between the Mara and Serengeti in Kenya. A variety of bird species can be seen here, including eagles, ducks, geese, herons, vultures, secretary birds, crested ibises, storks, egrets, kites, pelicans, cranes and guinea fowl bird.
Serengeti National Park is the world's most famous wildlife sanctuary, home to more than three million large mammals. About 35 species of plains animals can be seen here, including the 'Big 5' elephants, rhinos, lions, leopards and buffalo. Other commonly encountered species include hippos, giraffes, elands, impalas, other antelopes, baboons, monkeys, and he has over 500 species of birds in abundance.
In May or early June, large herds of wildebeest, gazelles and zebras begin their annual spectacular Serengeti Migration northward migration.
