Arusha is a city in northern Tanzania and is the capital of the Arusha Region with a population of 416,442 and a population of 323,198 in the surrounding Arusha District. Located at the eastern end of the eastern branch of the Great Rift Valley, below Mount Meru, Arusha has a temperate climate. The city is close to Serengeti National Park, Ngorongoro Conservation Area, Lake Manyara National Park, Olduvai Gorge, Tarangire National Park, Mount Kilimanjaro and Mount Meru Arusha National Park.

Departing early from Arusha town around 07:30 - 08:00, you will cross the beautiful and picturesque Masai steppe to the Makuyuni junction and turn left along the Arusha - Dodoma highway towards the National Park Tarangire, one way drive will only take 2 hours at most. Arrive at the park gate in Tarangire and after your driver has sorted out the paperwork, you start the driving game almost immediately from the gate with the aim of seeing as many animals and birds as possible.
Tarangire is known for two aspects, its tall baobab trees and larger herds of elephants (jumbo), but there's more to the park than just that. The park hosts a lot of large and small animal migration games (migrating between here and Manyara) but also many species of birds, some of which are very rare and are almost exclusively native to this park, for example like Ashy Starlings for example. Other rare animals include the oryx and the gerenuk. A variety of other common animals can be spotted including buffalo, giraffe, lion, cheetah, impala, dikdik, clouded leopard, antelope, eland, antelope (Kongoni) and many more.
Your expert hunting guide will take you to the best wildlife viewing areas in the park, including the Tarangire River, a permanent river that functions as the lifeblood of the park, ensuring that Animals flock to the riverbanks in search of water throughout the year. We started the day with an early morning driving game before heading to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Ngorongoro is a special place in that it is a reserve, not a national park. this means that the entire area is managed for both animals and the local Maasai people graze their livestock along with native wildlife. During the drive to Ngorongoro, we were fortunate to see the Maasai way of life. After stopping at the entrance, where we can learn more about this fascinating volcanic landscape, we will walk around the crater, and from there we can look down and see herds of wildebeest or buffalo herds, we ended up going down to the crater. , the floor of the largest unbroken crater in the world also known as Ngorongoro Crater.
Home to more than 120 species of mammals, including the legendary Big Five, the Ngorongoro Crater area is one of the most sought-after hunting destinations in the world. It's an especially great place to see endangered black rhinos enjoying a solitary meal in the grasslands, as well as a place to see large numbers of hippos enjoying the cool waters.
You'll spend the day on the crater floor doing driving games in search of animals that can be spotted up close. From the comfort of your convertible, you'll spot plenty of wildlife, including leopards, cheetahs, hyenas, jackals (silverbacks), and if you're lucky enough, can spot rare species such as caracal, leopard and black panther rhinoceros. Picnic lunches will most likely be taken at the Hippo Poolside picnic site, where you can also visit a restroom and then continue the afternoon game drive out of the Ngorongoro Crater.

Today we traveled to Lake Manyara National Park for a day of game driving. It is one of the smallest parks in Tanzania, yet offers a varied and rewarding safari experience. The shores of Lake Manyara are teeming with birds, and while looking for birds, you might spot one of the elusive tree-climbing lions. There are a surprising number of other large mammals and the dramatic cliffs of the Rift Escarboards create an impressive backdrop. Late afternoon, return to Arusha.
