Early in the morning, we will pick you up from your hotel in Arusha and take you to Lake Manyara National Park. The park includes the northwest coast and part of alkaline Lake Manyara, itself within the Great Rift Valley. The park is perhaps best known for its flamingos, pelicans, and cormorants, but it is also home to hundreds of other bird species. it is therefore a paradise for ornithologists. Along with a variety of birds, the "Big Game" can also be seen. With a little luck, you can see elephants in wooded areas and even luckier lions climbing trees. Indeed, Lake Manyara National Park has long been thought to be the only place you can find these atypical tree-climbing lions. Baboons and vervets are also found in wooded areas and in more open spaces, giraffes graze on fresh leaves while different types of antelope are common in the area for good grazing.
Late afternoon, you will exit the park and your guide will take you to Arusha/Moshi for the night.
